Choose your kilt, outfit or accessory, select your tartan, size and any add-ons, then click Add to Basket. When you are ready, go to the basket and complete your order through our secure checkout. You will receive an order confirmation by email straight away.
Yes. Most of our kilts, jackets and complete outfits are made to your own measurements and in the tartan you choose, so every piece fits you personally. Production starts as soon as your order and payment are confirmed.
You will need your waist, hip/seat and kilt length. Measure your waist at belly-button level, your seat around the fullest part of your hips, and kneel on the floor to measure from the floor up to your belly button for the length. Our illustrated Size Guide walks you through every measurement for kilts, jackets, outfits, trews, waistcoats and shirts.
Measure twice, over light clothing, and ideally ask someone to help. If you are still unsure, add a note in the Additional Information box on the product page or contact us before ordering, and our team will check your measurements with you.
We offer around 5,000 tartans, including clan, family, district, county, military, royal, national and fashion tartans. Use our Tartan Finder to search by name, browse A–Z or filter by tartan type, then choose your tartan on the product page.
Very likely. Search for your surname or clan in the Tartan Finder. If your tartan is not listed, contact us with the name and we will check whether it can be woven for you.
They are the same tartan pattern (sett) in different colour shades. Modern uses deep, strong colours, ancient uses softer, lighter colours, and weathered uses muted, earthy tones.
Yes. Each kilt and outfit page lets you add sporrans, kilt pins, belts, buckles, brooches, shirts, hose, flashes and ghillie brogues. When you choose a shirt, socks, shoes or a belt, the matching size option appears so you can select the right size.
Yes. If you need something that is not shown on our website, such as a special tartan, a non-standard length, a group or wedding order, or a matching set, please contact us with the details and we will send you a personal quote.
Yes. A rush order option is available on our made-to-measure products and can be selected on the product page. The extra cost is shown at checkout.
Yes. All prices on our website are shown in British Pounds (GBP). Sale items show the regular price, the sale price and how much you save.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Payment is taken in full when you place your order.
Yes. All payments are processed by trusted, PCI-compliant payment providers over an encrypted connection. Kilt Collection never sees or stores your full card details.
Ready-to-wear items such as accessories are usually dispatched quickly. Made-to-measure kilts and outfits are made after you order and are usually dispatched within 7–14 working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on each product page and in your order confirmation.
Standard tracked delivery within the United Kingdom is free on every order. We also ship to the USA, Canada, Europe and worldwide; international delivery costs are shown at checkout. International orders may be subject to import duties or taxes, which are paid by the recipient.
As soon as your order is dispatched, we email you a tracking link. You can also check your order status at any time on our Track My Order page using your order number and email address.
Yes, as long as your order has not entered production. Please contact us as soon as possible with your order number. Once a made-to-measure item is in production, it cannot be cancelled.
Yes, if your order has not been dispatched yet. Email Support@KiltCollection.co.uk with your order number and the new address as soon as possible.
Ready-to-wear items can be returned or exchanged within 14 days of delivery, as long as they are unworn, unwashed and in their original packaging with all tags attached. Made-to-measure items made exactly to the measurements you provided can be exchanged or altered rather than refunded. Please contact us before sending anything back.
Once your return arrives, we inspect it and confirm by email. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 working days. Original delivery charges and rush order fees are non-refundable unless the item was faulty or sent in error.
Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos of the item. If we made an error, we will remake or replace it free of charge.
